Wakulla Medical Center held its annual back to school Medical event with the theme "Prevention is the key to a healthy community". In the name of prevention, Medical care providers and staff offered screenings, education and fun activities as well as free school supplies for the students, refreshments and great door prizes.

"Every day in our waiting rooms I witness the value of having a Medical care home," said Brenda Posey, Center Manager. "When people have a place to go for regular care, they use it and stay Medicaly. We provide a range of services onsite for the entire family. Our patients not only get the care they need under one roof, but they are treated as individuals, with dignity and respect. This is what Medical care should be, and what we celebrate during National Medical Center Week."
